Did Hillary Clinton just tell her biggest lie ever?
Forget Whitewater and Benghazi and “the vast right wing conspiracy” — Hillary’s latest whopper is so ridiculous, even her most stalwart supports can’t possibly buy it.
It’s 2016. Women have had the vote for almost a century, and holding public office for almost as long. England, Israel, India and Canada are just a few of the nations who’ve elected female leaders.
Yet Hillary Clinton claims some men are telling her to her face that they won’t vote for her because she’s a woman.
According to Breitbart.com:
She said that people would come up to her on the rope line and say, “‘I really admire you, I really like you, I just don’t know if I can vote for a woman to be president,’” she said in an interview with New York Magazine. “I mean, they come to my events and then they say that to me.”
She added she thinks Americans are afraid that a woman’s ambition would crowd out relationships, marriage, children, family, and home making.
“We’re so accustomed to think of women’s ambition being made manifest in ways that we don’t approve of, or that we find off-putting.”
Who would go to the trouble of attending a Hillary Clinton event and stand in line for hours just to inform her that they weren’t planning to vote for her anyway? And who would state that reason to her face? And then what does she reply? How do the women standing nearby react? Has any such exchange ever been captured on a cell phone?
The more reasonable assumption is that Clinton is so used to making up stories she doesn’t know when to stop.
