There’s something wrong with 20-somethings. There, I said it.
As a man in his thirties—not that much older than the college-aged millennials making news—I am shocked to learn how this group is behaving.
Maybe it’s something in the water. Or something in the TV shows they watched as kids. Perhaps it is all the empty-headed garbage they are being fed at their college campuses. Whatever’s to blame, we are seeing a shocking amount of outlandish, unacceptable, and downright un-American behavior coming from liberal, pro-Hillary, pro-Bernie young people.
Most of the recent attacks and riots in the U.S. have been perpetrated by these people. They are the ones burning our campuses, attacking our elders, and generally causing trouble for every law-abiding American.
While there are people of all ages who didn’t vote for Donald Trump and most certainly don’t like him, it seems only people in their 20’s are acting like this:
But the hits keep coming. Last weekend many Americans assembled around the country in support of our President. These Americans exercised their right to peacefully assemble in solidarity to the people’s president. And while anti-Trumpers are allowed to protest without hindrance, it seems Trump supporters are worthy of violent backlash, as many were attacked and beaten.
One of those perpetrators? A certain VP candidate’s son.
From Twin Cities:
Clad in black and wearing a mask, the youngest son of Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine wrested himself from the cop and then “squared off” with him.
Woody Kaine, 24, was among five masked, black-garbed people suspected of lobbing a smoke bomb minutes earlier inside the Minnesota Capitol rotunda Saturday afternoon.
Officers had chased him down, but Kaine wasn’t about to submit, according to a more detailed account provided Wednesday by St. Paul police.
In the end, it took three officers, a “knee strike” and a chemical spray to subdue Kaine after he was identified as one of the counterprotesters who allegedly used fireworks or a smoke bomb to disrupt a rally in support of President Donald Trump at the Minnesota State Capitol, according to police spokesman Steve Linders.
Linwood Michael Kaine, who attended Carleton College and lives in Minneapolis, and four others were arrested on suspicion of second-degree riot after the “March 4 Trump” rally in St. Paul. A sixth person was cited for disorderly conduct.
Counterprotesters — some with apparent anti-fascist and anarchist leanings — clashed with Trump supporters in the Capitol rotunda after they disrupted the permitted event with air horns, whistles and chants.
It’s deeply disturbing to find that this generation’s response to things they don’t like is violence. Instead of maturely expressing their opinions and finding common ground with their detractors, they call Trump supporters Nazis and attack them with bats, pepper spray, and fireworks.
They are behaving like spoiled children who throw tantrums when they don’t get their way.
Kaine should know better. As the son of a senator and VP candidate, you’d think he would have learned a thing or two from his father about behaving in a respectable way. Perhaps Tim Kaine should have spent more time with his kids, than running for public office.
Yet this seems to be a poison spreading throughout this group of entitled, selfish, and downright stupid young people. They have been bamboozled by liberal professors, and empowered to break the law and act out, in hopes of undermining the very fabric of our society.
Hopefully under Trump this kind of un-American behavior will get the punishment it deserves. Then maybe this generation will wake up before it’s too late.
