Michael Cohen tried to take down ‘The Donald’ – and he learned his lesson the hard way.

Michael Cohen—who once claimed total loyalty to Donald Trump—turned on the president. He tried to rat out the Commander in Chief.

Turned out, after all the dust settled last week, the man had nothing on Trump.

Mueller tried to use Cohen to destroy the president. That failed.

Now a Cohen is facing the music, big time.

Michael Cohen, the president’s former fixer who once famously claimed he was willing to “take a bullet” for Donald Trump before later turning against his boss, was sentenced to three years in prison Wednesday by a federal judge in New York after pleading guilty to numerous crimes while cooperating with prosecutors…

Cohen appeared before U.S. District Judge William Pauley III for sentencing after pleading guilty to campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress about Trump’s past business dealings in Russia. He was seen entering the Manhattan courthouse Wednesday accompanied by members of his family.

While being sentenced, this traitor bashed the president, claiming he did it all to cover up Trump’s “dirty deeds.”

Talk about a piece of work. Cohen tried everything he could to save himself and throw the president under the bus.

But the facts are clear. Trump didn’t do anything wrong. It was Cohen who was found guilty of tax evasion, breaking campaign finance rules and lying to Congress.

And as many are pointing out, if Mueller had gotten anything from Cohen to use against Trump, he would not have been sentenced today. He would have testified in court against the President first. So this is clear proof Trump is in the clear.

Cohen started all the trouble by paying of Stormy Daniels, something he did on his own.

Mueller looked at every angle to get at the president. Cohen was all too happy to help. But in the end, Trump was clean and Cohen was the dirty one.

He might be going to jail for breaking various laws, but in reality, it’s because he betrayed the President of the United States.

One can only wonder what would have happened if he stuck by his client, told the truth, and refused to turn tail.
