Congress Drops Crushing Anvil On Top 3 Democrats, But They’re Trying To Flee

If there’s one thing liberals are good at, it’s attempting to avoid consequences for their actions.

When the corrupt Democrats serving in our government are called to testify for their illegal activities, they either come down with amnesia, stay silent, or don’t show up to their hearings at all.

Who can forget former IRS Director Lois Lerner, who pled the Fifth Amendment twice over allegations that the IRS had targeted conservative nonprofit groups in order to deny them tax-exempt status?

Then there’s former State Department Employee Bryan Pagliano, who famously invoked his Fifth Amendment right over his involvement in setting up Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server in 2015.

Pagliano is far from the first Clinton associate to plead the 5th, and definitely won’t be the last. Wherever Hillary is, criminal activity follows. The FBI is being called to answer for the illegal assistance they gave Clinton by failing to prosecute her in both the email probe and the Russia probe.

But the top three Democrats who used their credentials to help Clinton are attempting to evade their day in court. The lights are getting turned on, and the cockroaches are starting to scatter.

From The Washington Times:

Fired FBI Director James Comey refused to appear before Congress on Monday to talk about his handling of the Clinton email investigation, and his fired deputy, Andrew McCabe, asserted his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination, Sen. Charles E. Grassley said.

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch also declined to show up for a major hearing where the Senate Judiciary Committee was looking into the inspector general’s report detailing major bungles in Mr. Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation.

Nothing says “I’m innocent” like refusing to answer questions, or even showing up to answer questions about your questionable actions.

Comey’s lawyer then had the audacity to lie for his client and said that the former FBI director was out of the country.

But Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa pointed out that Comey posted photos to Twitter of him visiting Iowa over the weekend. “He has time for book tours and television interview, but apparently no time to assist this committee,” Grassley said.

These no-shows should be treated just as they would in a regular court. The hearing should still be held based on the evidence available, followed by a default judgment and a recommendation that the DOJ prosecute them. There is plenty of evidence available from the IG report for which charges can be brought against them, and soon to be plenty more via the release of the documentation from the FBI and DOJ.

Those who participated in these biased and illegal actions must be held accountable. If not, the citizens of this nation will never look at the justice system the same way again.
