The country was rocked last week when we learned about the Democrat bias of a major FBI investigator.
Peter Strzok worked on both Hillary Clinton’s email server case and Mueller’s special investigation.
We now know this agent has a strong Clinton bias—and hates Trump.
The partiality of both investigations has come into question. How can we trust the results of either, when a lead investigator is allowing his politics influence the outcome?
It seems like members of Congress agree.
And they are dropping the hammer on the FBI.
From Daily Caller:
The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is threatening to hold the Justice Department and FBI in contempt of Congress for withholding details about why a top FBI investigator was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the presidential campaign.
“I have instructed House Intelligence Committee staff to begin drawing up a contempt of Congress resolution for DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray,” California Rep. Devin Nunes, the Republican chair of the committee, said in a statement on Saturday night…
How would it help Congress to hold the FBI and DOJ in contempt? They have been stonewalling Congress, and this could be the door to getting the information they have requested fairly:
Committee Republicans have tried in vain for months to force the DOJ and FBI to provide details of the Russia investigation, including how much it relied on the uncorroborated dossier to form the basis of its probe.
But the final straw for Nunes appears to be the bombshell revelation that FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok was kicked off of Mueller’s team over the summer after it was discovered that he exchanged anti-Trump text messages with his mistress, an FBI lawyer named Lisa Page who also worked on Mueller’s team.
It seems like a lot of shady business has been going on. Since the Obama administration, the FBI and DOJ were abused. The last administration used these agencies for their own political advantage.
They protected Hillary Clinton, even though she broke the law (and lied to the FBI). The investigation into the 2016 election—headed by Mueller—is merely an attempted to overthrow Trump.
It’s time these rogue agencies are reined in. We must discover just what they were up to over the last few years. Strzok is most likely not the only agent with a bias. Who knows what else transpired, because of compromised agents?
How many cases were perverted to protect Democrat interests? How often was justice thwarted, because of corrupt agents and their bosses?
It’s about time we found out.
