If the LGBT community hasn’t waken up to the danger they face from Islam in America, then they’re in dire danger. After the terrible attack in Orlando, FL at the hands of a jihadist, leaders in the gay community are calling all LGBT Americans to arm themselves. Conservative gay voices, like Milo Yiannopoulos are calling for gays to “shoot back” so that terrorists will think twice about attacking them.
As this becomes a trend around the country, more threats are popping up. If you think radical Islamic terrorists like to take breaks, think again. They have declared war on the West. While we enjoyed something of a respite under President Bush, the threat of Islamic terror has only grown under great apologist Barack Obama.
Now a new message on a popular website should motivate all homosexuals to take up arms to protect themselves and the ones they love.
Via 10 News San Diego:
Police are investigating an online threat of violence to San Diego’s LGBT community that read: “You’re next.”
On Tuesday evening, a 10News viewer saw the post in the men-seeking-men section of the Craigslist San Diego personal ads. He took a screenshot and sent it to 10News before the post was flagged and removed.
The post is titled “We need more Orlando’s (sic),” and it is accompanied by a photo of a hand firing a revolver with a bullet coming out of the barrel.
The post read: “Orlando was long overdue. Cleanse your community of the filth that gives decent gay men and women a bad name. Those people were walking diseases, bug chasers, and thank god for AIDS and 9-11 and now Orlando. San Diego you are next …”
The anonymous nature of Craigslist makes it hard for law enforcement to track down the person who posted the message, but if the actions of social media-savvy Omar Mateen are a sign, they need to find this person at all speed.
The good news is the FBI isn’t sleep on the job, this time.
FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth told 10News the bureau’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the posting.
Foxworth told Team 10 the task force is a multi-law enforcement agency that will work together to find out who made this threat.
“This is something that’s very serious, very concerning to all of us, especially given what’s happened recently in Orlando,” said Foxworth. (10 News San Diego)
The FBI promised to use lawful means to root out the person who posted this message (that’s not hard, as the IP address of the poster would be recorded by Craigslist). After the massacre at Orlando, messages like this cannot be ignored. The poster must be found and held accountable.
This is the true reality of terrorism. The person who posted this may never pick up a gun and shoot people, but they’re using the fear caused by people like Mateen to suppress the freedoms of Americans. Imagine how many people right now in San Diego are afraid to go out, be they gay or straight, for fear of being gunned down by an Islamic terrorist.
We must show these monsters we’re not afraid of them. We must continue to live our lives, without fear of oppression. This is America, the land of the free and home of the brave. Now more than ever we must realize that the freedoms we enjoy are not free. There are people who will always want to deprive us of those freedoms. We need to protect them and protect ourselves.
And never give them up.
