Can Hillary Clinton be any more delusional?
The Democratic pick for president who habitually wears two faces flashed her disingenuous side once again during a recent televised interview in which she not only defended her actions as secretary of State during the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi – but she also dropped a whopper of a lie.
According to Political Insider, a pointed question from an audience member at the NBC Commander-in-Chief Forum went like this:
“What is your plan to end wasteful war campaigns in which our peers, service women and men, continue to be killed and wounded?”
Clinton went into fantasy mode with her reply, which was centered on explaining her leadership role during the attacks in Libya that left four Americans dead, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher J. Stevens.
She said no Americans died in Libya under her watch.
Clinton’s reply: “I put together a coalition that included NATO, included the Arab League, and we were able to save lives. We did not lose a single American in that action. And I think taking that action was the right decision.”
This isn’t the first time Clinton’s made the outrageous claim.
In May, she called Libya “a different kind of calculation, and we didn’t lose a single person,” Political Insider reported.
And a month later, during a June interview on Newshour on PBS, Clinton spoke of Libya and said she worked with the Obama administration to come up with a “way of supporting their efforts that didn’t cost a single American life.”
Stevens was brutally killed during the Islamic terrorist assault on the U.S. consulate, along with fellow Americans Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith.
Smith’s mother, Pat, slammed Clinton for her comments, saying “there’s a special place in hell for people like [her].”
