It’s a bad time to be a Trump traitor, and his chickens have come home to roost.

The Left has been incessantly squawking about Trump’s campaign colluding with Russia. It’s the whole reason Mueller’s investigation even began.

But in reality, they know that there is no collusion with Russia. The whole thing is a pathetic lie the Left came up with to explain Hillary Clinton’s epic loss, and now they’re stuck with it.

Since they know Mueller’s investigation will turn up nothing, Democrats are attempting to turn those closest to the president against him.

While some have remained loyal, others have decided to throw the president to the wolves to cover up their own crimes.

Now that one of Trump’s closest allies has been found guilty on multiple charges, the Left seems certain that the president’s impeachment is imminent.

But what they don’t understand is that these crimes are not the smoking gun they’re looking for.

President Trump‘s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen was met with “lock him up” chants outside a New York City federal courthouse on Tuesday after pleading guilty to charges of bank fraud, tax fraud and campaign finance law violations. 

As Cohen exited the courthouse after pleading guilty to several federal charges, people could be heard shouting “lock him up” in addition to “guilty” on CNN.

Cohen pleaded guilty to eight federal charges, including five counts of tax evasion and one count of making a false statement to a financial institution.

The longtime personal attorney for Trump also pleaded guilty to one count of making an excessive campaign contribution, which occurred on Oct. 27, 2016. 

That is the the same day that Cohen finalized a payment to adult-film star Stormy Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement over an affair Daniels claims she had with Trump.

Trump has categorically denied ever directing Cohen to pay off Stormy Daniels, but people are still celebrating Cohen being charged because they think it will lead to Trump’s demise.

But campaign finance violations are the most common of election crimes, and multiple candidates, especially Democrats, have violated these laws.

Hillary Clinton has been accused by of accepting $84 million of potentially illegal campaign contributions.

President Barack Obama was fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission for campaign reporting violations in 2008 — one of the largest fees ever levied against a president. Obviously, this was overlooked by the media and swept under the rug.

But hey, Obama and Hillary are Democrats, so they’re allowed to break the law.
