She tried to turn her red state blue, but she won’t even apologize.

After Democrats are elected to high positions of power, they frequently abuse their influence to get away with practically anything.

And the media just sweeps it under the rug for them. But they’re failing this time around.

A notable Democrat running to turn a Southern Red State Blue has enjoyed love from the liberal media.

But photos from her time in college have surfaced. In them, she is burning the flag of the very state she wants to be in charge of.

Once again, the liberal media is giving her a pass. But voters sure aren’t.

At a protest on the steps of the Georgia Capitol in 1992, Stacey Abrams, now the Democratic candidate for governor, joined in the burning of the state flag…

Ms. Abrams’s role in the protest, which took place around the end of her freshman year at Spelman College in Atlanta, has begun to emerge on social media on the eve of her first debate Tuesday with her Republican opponent, Secretary of State Brian Kemp. Mr. Kemp and his allies have sought to portray her as “too extreme for Georgia.”

You can’t say you love this country, then burn its flag. The same is true of any state in the Union.

That flag represents every last hard-working Georgia resident. The men and women who sacrificed so much to make it a great state.

To burn it says you hate them and their values.

The New York Times claims she did it to protest “white supremacy.” Except, this wasn’t during the days of the Jim Crow South. This was 1992.

The media loves Abrams because she might become the first black woman to be elected a governor.

Sorry, but Americans aren’t interested in identity politics. Georgia voters deserve a governor that loves their flag and the people it represents.

Abrams is not that person. She’s just another Democrat, who secretly despises the very people she wants to represent.

She’s trailing her rival, Brian Kemp, by several points. Expect that gap to explode. But don’t take any chances.

Every last conservative in Georgia must get out and support their candidate.

The Democrats and their lapdog media will try to hide this scandal. Don’t let them.
