Liberals thought it would help them, but it’s backfiring on them in Trump’s favor.
Democrats were so confident that they would take control of Congress in November.
But that was before Kavanaugh, Elizabeth Warren, and Trump’s blitz around the nation.
The Left has repeatedly self-destructed in the weeks leading up to the midterm elections, putting their hysterical protestors and unhinged representatives on full display to the nation.
Republicans, on the other hand, have been keeping their eye on the prize, with Trump focusing on leading an economic turnaround for the nation.
But Democrats insist that they’re poised to take back Congress in a few weeks.
Now they’re bragging about a huge record they’ve broken, but it may just turn out to be a huge embarrassment.

Democratic candidates running for Congress this year collectively raised more than $1 billion for their campaigns…
The $1.06 billion raised through the end of September surpasses the nearly $900 million collected by Republican candidates for Congress in 2012 — previously the largest haul registered by a single party by this point in the election cycle, according to a Washington Post analysis of Federal Election Commission records.
While the fundraising shows remarkable strength on the part of Democrats, it remains to be seen whether the financial advantage can translate to electoral success.
I know what you’re thinking – isn’t a lot of money good for Democrats?
Since when is wasting ungodly amounts of money something to brag about? Especially when Democrats were supposed to sweep the midterms, but now they’ve all but conceded the Senate and their chances in the Senate are slipping away?
Republicans have raised a fair amount less, and yet they’re proving politics is not all about money.
It’s about real ideas. It’s about due process for Kavanaugh, and keeping invading mobs from crossing our borders, and making changes to put America first and supercharge the economy.
Raising $1 billion and losing all over the country? It’s just another example of how Democrats love to waste taxpayer dollars and think they can control your vote with the almighty dollar.

Take, for example, Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who has raised a record-breaking $61.7 million for his campaign to overthrow Sen. Ted Cruz.
But the majority of O’Rourke’s funds have come from outside of Texas, and his campaign is being financed largely by Democrats in states like California and New York.
It’s also important to note that money doesn’t always translate to votes. During the 2016 election, candidate Bernie Sanders was able to raise $185.8 million, compared with $186.7 million for Hillary Clinton.
And yet Clinton decisively beat Sanders while running against him, earning nearly 1,000 more delegates.
This will likely be the fate of O’Rourke, who is currently trailing Cruz by 7 percentage points.
If the Left are able to raise (and waste) $1 billion on an election and still manage to lose, they’re totally bankrupt of ideas and the ability to lead.
