What’s Happening:

Things aren’t going well for leftist CNN host Don Lemon. Word came out that he would be losing his primetime show to co-host a morning one.

Perhaps he was out of sorts over the news, when he tried to guilt a British royal commentator embracing reparations.

But the liberal was owned by this response.

Lemon spoke to global business consultant Hilary Fordwich…

“And then you have those who are asking for reparations for colonialism, and they’re wondering, you know, $100 billion, $24 billion here and there, $500 million there,” Lemon continued…

“Well, I think you’re right about reparations in terms of if people want it…” Fordwich responded. “Where was the beginning of the supply chain? That was in Africa, and when it crossed the entire world, when slavery was taking place, which was the first nation in the world that abolished slavery? The first nation world to abolish it, it was started by William Wilberforce, was the British. In Great Britain, they abolished slavery.”

Boom! Lemon was not expecting such a response from a British consultant.

It seems Lemon wanted this European to nod her head in agreement. After all, white American politicians are too scared to defy someone like Lemon when talking about race and “reparations.”

Britain looked like an easy target. After all, it’s much older than America. Perhaps that country can be just as easily manipulated as America over the issue of slavery.

But this global business consultant wasn’t taken in for a second.

She gave old Don a bit of a history lesson.

She explained that Great Britain was the first country to abolish slavery. In fact, she explained that two thousand British sailors died trying to stop slavery.

At the same king, African kings were rounding up their own people, according to Fordwich, selling them to slave traders.

Uh, boy, Lemon All that woke guilt doesn’t work on someone who actually knows history.

It doesn’t seem Britain is about to dish out $100 billion or more in reparations, just to make Don Lemon feel better.
