John Kerry’s career is proof of Donald Trump’s assertion that “the system is rigged.” How does a man go from falsely charging his country with war crimes during the Vietnam War to being a presidential candidate and Secretary of State?
What was his response to the sick slaughter of Parisians by Islamic terrorists? To go to France with aging folk singer James Taylor, to sing “You’ve Got a Friend.” No matter what he does, or how often he screws up, Kerry is never demoted or punished. His latest idiotic remarks won’t leave a mark either.
As Breitbart reports:
Secretary of State John Kerry wants media to stop covering terrorist attacks so “people wouldn’t know what’s going on.”
He began by saying:
“It’s not just the battlefield; it’s the minds. And if we have too many young people who can’t go to school, or too many young people who are frustrated, or they can’t find a job — if we leave those minds out there for extremists to recruit, then it will continue and none of us would be doing our jobs if we allowed that to happen.”
Then Kerry added:
It’s easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you’re going to be a terrorist and you’re willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.
Yeah, those darned media, reporting the news! How dare they? And those lowly, stupid “people,” who can’t be trusted to know the truth!
Kerry sounds more like Vladimir Putin than an American leader. Can you imagine the uproar if Donald Trump said exactly the same thing? But the U.S. media is so in the tank for the Democrats, most reporters will actually try to cover up Kerry’s latest dumb comments.
