We’ve known for a long time that the current administration has little respect for our military. The left seem to distrust and despise our men in women in uniform, despite the fact that they risk our lives to protect us (same as our police officers).
So it comes as no surprise that our top military leaders had a hard time under the Obama administration.
Long time generals, tasked with the heavy burden of keeping the United States safe, were chaffed by Obama’s restricting limitations, narrow view of the world, and poor judgement.
Now one of those leaders is speaking out.
From Western Journalism:
Retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Norman Ham is speaking out ahead of the presidential election about the serious problems he has with the current commander in chief — and why he believes GOP nominee Donald Trump has the best plan to correct the American military’s current course.
“Now that I don’t have to be politically correct anymore,” he told the host, “it was demoralizing to work for Obama.”
Ham went on to explain how he believes cuts to military spending left his and other generals’ hands tied when attempting to perform their duties.
Ham discussed the cuts to military, as well as trading traitors for terrorists, the kind of policies that Obama embraced, as reasons for his demoralization.
Obama has created a nation that awards our enemies and punishes the hard working leaders that still want to make our country great.
Looking ahead to the future of the armed forces and the nation, Ham explained why he backs Trump over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“This country needs a leader,” he said. “We need a leader with integrity, a leader that sees goodness in all Americans that can bring up together and lead us forward.”
I don’t know about you, but I’ll take that endorsement over many others. Our military understand what it takes to lead our country. If they prefer Trump over Hillary, we all need to listen.
