It’s obvious to everyone that Hillary Clinton has admitted to her email server crimes, but she’s still proclaiming herself innocent.
So it’s interesting when she starts blaming something she didn’t do on someone else. And—surprise!—she’s blaming Republican. Is there anything Democrats don’t blame Republicans for? They are the real enemy, if you weren’t aware.
But it still comes as a shock when Hillary uses one of the most decorated, non-partisan Republicans as her scapegoat. The Conservative Tribune reports:
Powell, the former secretary of state under President George W. Bush, is alleged in a new book by liberal writer Joe Conason to have advised Clinton to use the private email server.
“Toward the end of the evening, over dessert, Albright asked all of the former secretaries to offer one salient bit of counsel to the nation’s next top diplomat,” Mr. Conason wrote, according to The New York Times. “Powell told her to use her own email, as he had done, except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer.”
Powell could not let this slide. Even though it seemed clear that he differentiated the proper use to Hillary (who is just proving her ineptitude more and more each day), he was prompted to give a blistering response:
“General Powell has no recollection of the dinner conversation. He did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department,” Powell’s office said in a statement, according to MSNBC (via the Washington Free Beacon).
“At the time, there was no equivalent system within the department. He used a secure state computer on his desk to manage classified information. The general no longer has the email he sent to former Secretary Clinton.”
So Hillary’s instinct when she does something wrong is to blame someone else. Republicans, in fact. She would continue with more of the same we have had in the White House, what with Obama blaming everything that goes wrong on George W. Bush and only taking credit for the good. We need a leader who can take responsibility for their actions and has the character to lead this nation. Colin Powell isn’t a bad choice, but there’s a better option on the ballot in November.
