This week Donald Trump has been under fire for comments about “2nd Amendment people” doing what they can if Hillary Clinton gets the chance to nominate Supreme Court justices. He clearly meant that they needed to go vote in November to prevent another President Clinton and to use the NRA’s lobbying power to keep anti-2nd Amendment justices off the bench. Still, the media has had a heyday with this.
Which makes what Hillary Clinton said in 2008 so ironic, and far more shocking. The nomination had slipped away from her as Obama took a commanding lead, and she started looking “desperate,” staying in the race for no discernible reason. Until she explains why in this video clip.
From CNN’s Hardball, via YouTube:
My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary, somewhere in the middle of June. Right?
We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. You know, I just don’t understand it…
And should anyone think she was not intimating that she was operating under a contingency plan in case the first black Presidential nominee was assassinated, here is Obama’s response to this statement:
Statement from Obama Spokesman: Senator Clinton’s statement before the Argus Leader Editorial Board was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign.
Trump advocates policy reform and gets hammered while Hillary dreams of her opponents “disappearing” from the race…for good. The media will not fairly cover this race, but Hillary has plenty of skeletons in her closet that are available for all to see, and the new media will do what it can to make this a fair and balanced election.
