The right to vote in free elections is what separates the United States from dictatorships around the world. Every American citizen of voting age has the right to cast their ballet, without fear that their vote will be tampered with.
Yet every election, we hear news of attempts at violating this sacred rite.
The system will never be perfect, but since the fiasco of the 2000 Presidential Election, strides have been made to make sure modern voting machines are accurate and tamper-proof.
Now we are learning that more work needs to be done.
From Clash Daily:
Elliot Crown was one of a few citizens allowed to speak and used his time to point out PROOF of possible voter fraud considering ALL NYC counties hillary won were with THIS special black box
Roughly 70 percent of states in the U.S. use some form of electronic voting. Hackers told CBS News that problems with electronic voting machines have been around for years. The machines and the software are old and antiquated. But now with millions heading to the polls in three months, security experts are sounding the alarm, reports CBS News correspondent Mireya Villarreal.
The video shows how voting machines can be tampered with. Hackers can rig elections by voting numerous times. Also election officials can break into machines after votes are collected.
This has always been a problem; it is one of the reasons why we vote state to state rather than in a national popular vote, as it limits this kind of manipulation. But will this year’s election be stolen, thanks to hackers?
Hopefully not. But there’s one sure-fire way Hillary can steal the election: if conservatives stay at home come election day.
