Conservatives and independents have always had their misgivings about Barack Hussein Obama. For a guy with a name like that, with his connections to the Muslim community, and given how he has treated Muslim world powers better than his own country much of the time, it’s understandable.
But many are breathing a sigh of relief that Hillary Clinton, for all her many flaws, has a Christian background and is well known by the American people. But it turns out her closest confidant, who has run Hillary’s day-to-day operations for years, may be a more devout Muslim than Obama ever was.
This piece of information seems to be missing in most of the media, but it could have significant implications on the future direction of our country.
Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin reveals in Vogue today that her Muslim faith helped her deal with her husband Anthony Weiner after news of his perverted online behavior ruined his political career.
“I tried to block out all the noise and move on with my life,” Abedin says, as the piece notes that she cited her Muslim faith to help her as well as a “a really supportive group of friends and colleagues” after the disturbing revelations that went public.
“That support system enabled us—enabled me—to get up and to keep doing what I thought were the right things for my family and for myself,” she said.
For Clinton’s closest adviser, Huma Abedin, to have a strong predisposition towards the Muslim faith, it is fair to ask how those beliefs will affect America’s policies on immigration, refugees, Sharia law and foreign policy. At a time when terrorism is on the rise from Muslim radicals, Americans need to think very closely about who they want in the White House.
