The liberals rage, but nothing is going to stop Trump from doing the right thing. Already during his administration, he’s pardoned a few high-profile figures.
Recently, he pardoned Dinesh D’Souza, a conservative filmmaker who took aim at liberal corruption. Liberals threw the book at D’Souza, pushing for a hard penalty, because of how he exposed them. Trump’s pardon sent liberals into panic mode.
Recently, a notable celebrity visited the White House to seek Trump’s aid. Her cause was just, to seek the pardoning of a woman who was severely punished. The media scoffed at the event, calling it a stunt. They insulted the celebrity and Trump, for the meeting.
But Trump is having the last laugh. In fact, he committed an act of compassion Obama refused.

President Trump granted clemency Wednesday to a Tennessee great-grandmother serving a life sentence for cocaine trafficking — after hearing a plea from reality television star Kim Kardashian West in an Oval Office meeting.
“Ms. Johnson has accepted responsibility for her past behavior and has been a model prisoner over the past two decades,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. “While this administration will always be very tough on crime, it believes that those who have paid their debt to society and worked hard to better themselves while in prison deserve a second chance.”
Johnson was convicted in 1996 of five counts of drug trafficking and one count of money laundering and sentenced to life in prison — despite the fact that it was her first offense.
Johnson’s plea for clemency was denied by President Barack Obama in just weeks before he left office in 2017, despite an initiative aimed at freeing drug offenders serving long mandatory minimum sentences. Case files are not public, so it’s unclear why Obama found her petition undeserving.
How very interesting. You know, liberals always talk about how harsh our criminal justice system is. They frequently talk about how people—especially minorities—are mistreated for their offenses. Johnson should have been one of their causes. Yes, she broke the law, but she suffered a huge penalty for a first offense. Had she been a wealthy person—who could afford a team of lawyers—she would have gotten off.
President Obama claimed to care about the little people. Yet time and again, he neglected to help them. It’s almost, as if, he was full of it!
President Trump isn’t interested in scoring brownie points with anyone. He talks the talk and walks the walk. He truly cares about Americans, especially Americans who prove themselves. Johnson’s time in prison proved she was reformed. She deserved a second chance.
Liberals, on the other hand, don’t care about personal accomplishment. They are only looking to reward people because of their race, gender, or sexuality. In fact, they seem to reject people who distinguish themselves based on merit. It’s sick.
Thankfully, we no longer have a president who does that.
