Many Americans long for the day when the Clinton’s no longer hold power and influence in any capacity. Their policies of self-interest at the expense of the nation’s security and prosperity has has left those that love our nation feeling nothing but resentment for the power hungry couple.
Yet the scope of their power is so deeply entrenched at the top levels of government that it seems unlikely they’ll ever truly go away.
But there’s one problem that even the Clinton’s can’t buy their way out of, and new emails reveal that their aides began planning for it nearly a decade ago.
From New York Post:
A long-time aide to Hillary Clinton sought to map out her funeral — and Bill Clinton’s — in 2010 because “planning is best done when they are still with us,” according to an email released on Wednesday by Judicial Watch.
Capricia Marshall, who was chief of protocol for the State Department when Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state, wrote to Huma Abedin, Doug Band and Cheryl Mills on Feb. 23, 2010, saying “everytime someone significant passes, I am flooded with requests” about the Clintons’ arrangements.
“Planning is necessary and best done when they are still with us,” she wrote to top Clinton aide Abedin.
Think about that timeline—5 years before she would announce her candidacy for POTUS, Hillary was worried she wouldn’t be able to relay her funeral plans! Of course sharing your wishes is a good thing to do as early as possible, and the Clintons are getting up there in age, but add this to her many, many health issues on the campaign trail, and it shows she was unfit to serve years before she ran.
But she was the Democrat queen and no one would take away her tiara—until Donald Trump and the American people came along.
While it is unfortunately true that the Clinton’s are still with us, reading about their staff planning their departure is still a delightful experience.
Hearing the staff concede that the Clinton’s are in fact mortal is reassuring to those of us that anxiously await the day when they can no longer wreak havoc on the Constitution.
What’s curious is that no where in the emails do they mention the celebratory fireworks display that Hillary’s sendoff most assuredly deserves. Weird.
