The American policy is simple: we don’t negotiate with terrorists.

This attitude extends beyond hostage situations, too.

We simply don’t tolerate terrorism in any way and if pure evil attacks us, we go after it … full force.

That’s what happened to one of the barbaric ISIS leaders tied to the killing of an American aid worker.

Military veteran Peter Kassig was only 26 years old when he was beheaded on November 16, 2014.

And though it has taken some time to track down his killers, Col. Sean Ryan says a U.S.-led coalition has finally hit its mark.

“An ISIS leader tied to the killing of an American aid worker in 2014 was killed in an airstrike, a military representative said Monday.

The U.S.-led coalition fighting ISIS conducted drone strikes on Sunday against Abu al-Umarayn and several other IS members, Col. Sean Ryan, a spokesman for said coalition fighting, told the Associated Press.

He also said that al-Umarayn was believed to be ‘posing an imminent threat’ to coalition workers.”

Abu al-Umarayn was “involved in the killing” of Kassig, so this animal definitely deserved whatever he got.

Kassig was an Indiana native and served in Iraq in 2007 as an Army Ranger.

In 2012, he founded a humanitarian group that tried to help Syrians during their hugely destructive civil war.

But Kassig was captured by ISIS in October of 2014 and his gruesome death came soon after.

This is the sort of evil we must continue to fight with all our strength.

And now, thanks to our military’s tireless efforts, Kassig’s family and friends will sleep a little better at night now.
