The time to attack Trump is behind us.
Just a few weeks ago, the #NeverTrump camp was putting forth a strong effort to stop his momentum.
They truly believed a candidate with the votes and numbers he had could be foiled by some last minute scheming.
Now we know that was all wasted time.
Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee and more leaders are getting behind him. At least this proves some in the Republican Party have sense.
We now know that House Freedom Caucus Chairman, Rep. Jim Jordan, is speaking out for Trump. He has said the entire party will get behind him in order to defeat Hillary Clinton.
According to Breitbart:
“I think we’ll all come together. I really do,” Jordan told Breitbart News, referring to efforts to bring the party together after a divisive primary battle… Jordan chairs the so-called “Freedom Caucus,” an organization of conservative House members who fight to push the party in the Right direction on policy issues, including federal government spending.
Squabbles within a political party are not uncommon. A group as vast as the Grand Old Party will have people of differing opinions (at least they’re not shouting down fellow members when they speak). But it’s imperative that they laid aside their bickering in order to prevent a disastrous third Obama term.
“I’ve seen the evidence” from the Benghazi Commission that showed Hillary Clinton saying one thing and doing another with regard to the Benghazi terrorist attack, including blaming a YouTube video for the pre-meditated violence.
“That’s the kind of thing we have to underscore,” Jordan said. “Their likely nominee is Secretary Clinton. That’s what we’ve got to focus on.”
Plenty of Republicans have echoed Jordan’s sentiments. They refuse to accept a Clinton victory this November. It won’t be long until the entire GOP is united behind Trump. Hillary better look out.
