Judge Drops Hammer Of Justice On 3 Food Stamp Slugs In Clinton’s State

It’s just the right sentence for these criminals.

How many more welfare scheme stories must we read before lawmakers finally realize:

These government assistant programs are rife with abuse and corruption, and taxpayers are the ones who suffer.

The SNAP program (food stamps) might be the most broken in the entire country.

Every time you turn around, you hear about more criminals abusing this welfare plan… and basically, they’re stealing money out of taxpayer wallets.

And we’re not talking about petty theft, either.

Via Breitbart:

Three Arkansas shopkeepers pleaded guilty Wednesday to carrying out a $400,000 food stamp fraud scheme where they used food stamps to purchase items that they would resell in their stores.

Raja Khani Zaman and his two sons, Haroon ‘Harry’ Zaman and Ahmed Zaman, pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court…

…to one count of conspiracy to traffic in food stamp benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Raja and Harry Zaman pleaded guilty to additional charges, including filing a false tax return and money laundering conspiracy, court documents stated.

Prosecutors say the men carried out the scheme between 2012 and 2016 at three Arkansas convenience stores— Fenny’s, Park Mini Mart, and Grand Convenience.”

That’s four years and hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars lost.

Raja and Harry deposited what they stole through these illegal transactions into several bank accounts, and tried to make it look like legit earnings.

Thankfully, though, they were finally caught and prosecuted.

And there is some good news:

The three men responsible must pay back the money they stole: $54,161.64 from the USDA and $344,817 from the IRS.

Yes, they may take some time to pay it back, but at least the judge sent a clear and decisive message, right?

Unfortunately, these scams are hardly uncommon.

It’s a darn good thing President Trump is working hard to get people OFF welfare, isn’t it?

If more of America was working, we wouldn’t have so many stories of theft and welfare abuse, now would we?

SHARE to thank President Trump for getting our country off welfare and back to WORK!
