A massive wrong has just been righted, leading to a historic victory for conservatives everywhere.
Liberals tend to look back on the Obama administration with rose-colored glasses.
They rejoice in claiming that the former president had no scandals during him time in office, despite all evidence to the contrary.
There were the large scandals like Fast and Furious and Benghazi, but one scandal that particularly frightened conservative Americans was Obama’s IRS targeting conservative groups.
Lois Lerner’s bias was revealed when her emails were leaked, and the former head of the IRS didn’t hold her contempt for tea party non-profits back.
During Lerner’s time at the IRS, only one conservative political advocacy organization was granted tax-exempt status between February 2009 and May 2012.
Liberal groups applying for non-profit status received no such discrimination or delays, and were quickly processed.
The IRS attempted to bury this story and claimed that Lerner’s emails from January 2009 to April 2011 had been “lost”. Now where have we heard that before?
But recovered emails show that Lerner believed that conservatives were “crazies”, and “a**holes.”
Can you imagine if a conservative IRS head had targeted liberal groups in this manner? The media would be blathering about it nonstop.
But despite the media’s attempts to not report this story, word got out, and now the IRS is going to be the one to pay.

A judge this week approved a settlement between the IRS and hundreds of tea party groups, in which the federal agency agreed to pay out $3.5 million, reports said.
“It shows that when a government agency desires to target citizens based on their viewpoints, a price will be paid,” said Edward Greim, a lawyer who led the class-action case in federal court in Cincinnati, according to the Washington Times.
The tea party groups received a “sincere apology” from the IRS, and the government agreed to a declaratory judgment that “it is wrong” to scrutinize a tax return because of a taxpayer’s name or political philosophy, the report said.
This is likely the first class-action lawsuit against the IRS that has resulted in the agency being forced to pay restitution to the injured parties.
The conservative groups affected by Lerner’s bias have been waiting five years for this moment, and they can now finally claim victory over a corrupt institution.
Lerner is attempting to downplay her role in the whole sage, depicting herself as the hero who tried to stop the targeting of conservatives, despite the fact that the transcripts of the trial are sealed and she constantly pled the 5th when she was called before Congress.
Lerner should be forced to pay the settlement out of her own pocket while serving a lengthy prison sentence, but liberals have circled their wagons around her to protect her from any prosecution.
