According to the latest LA Times poll, reports of Donald Trump’s death have been greatly exaggerated.
The Times released a poll over the weekend showing that Trump has caught up to Hillary Clinton. Democrat partisans hoped that the newest poll would provide some good news for their candidate.
We don’t always get what we wish for.
Not only does the new poll have the race neck-and-neck, it shows Donald Trump winning all voters over the age of 35! If Hillary has to rely on young people, the most notoriously unreliable voters, to turn out for her, she is in huge trouble.
Trump is also trouncing her with voters who have some college or less, Again, if Clinton has to rely on the highly educated…there just aren’t that many of them!
Trump is also crushing her with white voters while making significant progress among African-Americans, another demo that Clinton desperately needs.
Clinton has outspend Trump by over 50 million dollars and still can’t open a lead!
Long story short…it ain’t over. In fact, Donald Trump is barely getting started.
We ask voters what the chance is that they will vote for Trump, Clinton or someone else, using a 0-100 scale. The overall level of support for each candidate reflects the weighted average of those responses.
