What’s Happening:
It’s been months since Biden presented his “build back better” agenda: a radical spending plan that would cost taxpayers upwards of $3.5 trillion dollars. But despite many promises, scheming, and demanding, the Democrats have been unable to pass a single spending bill.
Biden had to come back, on his hands and knees, with a stripped-down (but still socialist) bill. Pelosi might have been able to get the House to back it.
But once again, she failed, and badly. From Newsmax:

No matter what she says or does, Nancy Pelosi appears unable to get House Democrats to unite and pass Biden’s agenda. This is largely due to an ongoing civil war between moderates and progressives. Progressives won’t vote on the bipartisan bill unless the Senate passes the socialist package.
And moderates in the Senate still refuse to put their stamp of approval on it. Even with Biden’s changes, senators like Manchin and Sinema might delay this until next year. And by next year, there might not be momentum to get anything done.
To make matters worse for Nancy, the content of Biden’s new version of his bill isn’t going over well. This one costs less and has stripped out much of what far-left progressives wanted. House progressives are outraged over the changes and do not appear willing to back this bill. Bernie Sanders even told them to hold out, stalling the vote.
Once again, Pelosi has not been able to get House Democrats to agree and pass anything. Elise Stefanik, a top Republican congresswoman, called Pelosi a “lame duck.” That’s especially ironic, considering Nancy’s party has the majority in the chamber!
A “lame duck” president is one that has lost the support of Congress and can’t get anything done. He can’t get his agenda passed because the rival party won’t support it. What does it say about Pelosi, who is a lame duck with a majority Democrat Congress?
It tells us that the Democrats really can’t get anything done. Even when they have the House, the Senate, and the White House—it’s a crap show.
