Excerpts from David Garrow’s book Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama have been making a splash across social media in recent weeks.
Garrow’s eight years researching Obama uncovered many disturbing facts, including the former president’s hatred for “racist” America in one of his unpublished manuscripts.
Garrow also discovered that Obama proposed to his half-white, half-Japanese girlfriend before he met Michelle, but broke off their engagement because she wasn’t black.
Perhaps the most disturbing revelation was Obama’s admission that he “considered gayness” but decided being with women was “more challenging and demanding.”
Now a new tantalizing tidbit from the book is causing an uproar, but this time it’s the Democrats that are cringing in horror!
From The Daily Wire:
In a previously unpublished paper he co-wrote with Robert Fisher titled “Race and Rights Rhetoric,” Obama characterized the “unfounded optimism” of the average American’s view of true success: becoming Donald Trump. Here’s the passage:
[Americans have] a continuing normative commitment to the ideals of individual freedom and mobility, values that extend far beyond the issue of race in the American mind. The depth of this commitment may be summarily dismissed as the unfounded optimism of the average American—I may not be Donald Trump now, but just you wait; if I don’t make it, my children will.
Unfortunately for Obama, he lacked both the business skills and brains necessary to reach Trump’s level of success. The private sector doesn’t help freeloaders like Obama thrive. Leeches like him are weeded out from the system like a bad virus.
Obama quickly realized that the only way he’d be able to get rich like Trump was by becoming a career politician, selling government access and assets for cash. Obama has been doing exactly this both in and out of office.
The Clinton’s made this practice of peddling influence for cash into an art form, but Reid and Pelosi have benefited as well. Now that Obama is no longer president, he is just another Democrat profiting off of six-figure speaking fees from companies that want to bribe their way into the political inner circle.
Trump was able to do what Obama couldn’t, and made himself independently wealthy through his own work ethic and brilliance. We finally have a president who, by Obama’s own admission, is the definition of the American dream.
Obama on the other hand was an American nightmare that we can now mercifully put behind us.
