Well, safe spaces and cry rooms aside, how does a celebrity mentally and emotionally deal with a devastating thing like the loss of a presidential election? By going to her nearest media therapist AKA an interview with a major magazine publication to vent her feelings and negative vibes.
Of course we’re speaking about none other than the queen of sleaze in the music industry and forerunner to such notables as Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, the ever presence of video sluttiness herself, Madonna!
In an interview with Elizabeth Banks for Billboard Magazine, Madonna revealed her inner demon and hissed about the terrible loss of her counterpart in politics, Hillary Clinton to the apocalyptic bringer of Democrat destruction, Donald Trump.
From the Billboard interview:
The 58-year-old pop icon said it felt like “someone died” after Trump defeated her preferred presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, in November.
“It felt like a combination of the heartbreak and betrayal you feel when someone you love more than anything leaves you, and also a death,” the singer told Billboard. “I feel that way every morning; I wake up and say, ‘Oh, wait, Donald Trump is still the president,’ and it wasn’t a bad dream that I had.”
“It feels like women betrayed us. The percentage of women who voted for Trump was insanely high.”
“Women hate women. Women’s nature is not to support other women. It’s really sad,” the “Material Girl” said.
She believes women failed to vote for Hillary out of “jealousy” and “some sort of tribal inability to accept that one of their kind could lead a nation.”
“Other people just didn’t bother to vote because they didn’t like either candidate, or they didn’t think Trump had a chance in the world,” Madonna said. “They took their hands off the wheel and then the car crashed.”
The election results left Madonna “devastated, surprised, in shock,” she said, adding: “I haven’t really had a good night’s sleep since he has been elected.
Madonna said of meeting Trump, once, at a photo shoot 20 years ago:
“He’s a very friendly guy, charismatic in that boastful, macho, alpha-male way,” Madonna said of meeting Trump. “I found his political incorrectness amusing. Of course, I didn’t know he was going to be running for president 20 years later.”
Being a celebrity, contrary to public perception, doesn’t bring automatic wisdom and understanding of politics and the corruption of political leaders like Hillary Clinton.
That has to be discovered through actual research about the candidates and their backgrounds which is what should have happened before we were saddled with two terms from a communist revolutionary change agent with a fondness for Muslims and illegal, Hispanic border crashers.
Yeah, that’s right, Madonna, Trump is the guy we patriotic Americans put in charge to stop all the “PC” crap you bleeding heart liberals have been force feeding us for nearly a decade!
We expect your next meltdown will be a real humdinger!
