The liberal media tried to take down the President – but it was so bad, Mueller came down on them.
The big headline news (at least in the mainstream media) has been BuzzFeed’s breaking news that Trump is about to be impeached.
They published a story that Michael Cohen accused President Trump of telling Cohen to lie to Congress under oath, information “obtained” through the Mueller investigation..
By directing him to commit perjury, Trump himself would be guilty of a high crime and misdemeanor.
Immediately every liberal media outlet repeated endlessly how this was finally what they needed to impeach Trump.
Except they missed one important thing – it was all a big lie.
From Axios:
In a rare move, the office of special counsel Robert Mueller has gone on the record to dispute the bombshell BuzzFeed report from Thursday night, which claimed that the special counsel has evidence that President Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress.
“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate.” — Spokesperson Peter Carr
Oops. Nothing to see here. Move along, folks.
SHARE to boycott BuzzFeed and all the other fake news outlets!
BuzzFeed literally accused Trump of a felony that could bring down his Presidency, and everyone immediately believed them.
And it took Mueller, the man investigating Trump, to call them out on it.
Clearly, Mueller is not on Trump’s side, but he’s smart enough to know that he cannot let the media lie about his investigation and get away with it.
Wait. Did you hear that banging?
It’s the final nail in the media’s coffin.
Please don’t believe anything the media writes. Their liberal track record is proof they can’t be trusted.
This is why Patriot Journal and other conservative publications exist. To give you the truth when the media will lie to you to take down our President.
SHARE to tell the media you’re never listening to them again!
