When Republicans go low, Democrats can only go lower.
During a recent panel held by liberal media outlet Pod Save America, California Senator Kamala Harris began discussing healthcare and how she believes it is a right and not a privilege. She then went on to address comments made by Congressman Raul Labrador (R-ID) during a recent town hall meeting.
A liberal protester had screamed at Labrador, “You are mandating people on Medicaid accept dying.”
Labrador responded, “No one wants anybody to die. That line is so indefensible. Nobody dies because they don’t have access to health care.”
His last sentence is what liberals reporters are honing in on, claiming Labrador is “out of touch” without providing the full context surrounding his comments.
Because Sen. Harris didn’t have any real facts to back up her argument about healthcare, she resorted to using curse words against Labrador’s comment to make her point.
From The Daily Wire:
[T]his is a matter of values, and so if you can pay for it, you can get it. Like this guy, this congressman, so you might as well say, ‘Well, people don’t starve because they don’t have food. What the f*** is that?”
Left-wing and Democrat-aligned news media outlets are hyping Harris as a future presidential candidate for Democrats.

If Harris is really the best the Democrats can offer, consider Trump a shoe-in in 2020.
The only reason Harris has gotten as far as she has in politics is because of her relationship with former California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown. The couple began dating in 1994, when Brown was 60-years-old Harris was 30.
The married father of four later gave his girlfriend her first job in politics, appointing Harris to the California Medical Assistance Commission.
But Republicans don’t take such handouts. Unlike Harris, Labrador actually had to work to get his position, and the backlash he has received from the media manipulating his words shows Republicans still have a long way to go.
Labrador attempted to clarify his statement in a Facebook Post, saying, “I was responding to a false notion that the Republican health care plan will cause people to die in the streets, which I completely reject.
“In a lengthy exchange with a constituent, I explained to her that ObamaCare has failed the vast majority of Americans. In the five-second clip that the media is focusing on, I was trying to explain that all hospitals are required by law to treat patients in need of emergency care regardless of their ability to pay and that the Republican plan does not change that.”
Despite Labrador’s explanation, the liberal media are continuing to depict him as the devil incarnate while they heap praise on Harris for swearing at him.
If that doesn’t sum up the state of American media, I don’t know what does.
