We’ve had quite the ride this campaign season. Pundit opinion has been turned on its head. Nobody really knows just what might happen next.
Donald Trump has come out on top as the presumptive nominee for the GOP. Although Bernie Sanders is clawing his way along, it looks like Hillary Clinton will lead the Democrats. Talk is growing about how Trump and Clinton will face off come the summer and fall.
We know Trump will attack Clinton’s shady reputation. It’s going to be ugly. Even liberal outlets like MSNBC are predicting a bloodbath. Now we have even more predictions from the news channel.
As reported by Washington Free Beacon:
MSNBC’s Morning Joe panel had a lengthy discussion Monday about the “uncomfortable” facts of Bill Clinton’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, the known pedophile billionaire whose jet Clinton flew on dozens of times.
Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump has been unafraid to level attacks against the Clintons for the former president’s past of sexual misconduct, calling him fair game. Fox News reported last week that Clinton flew on Epstein’s jet, the crudely named “Lolita Express,” far more than previously known in the last decade.
[As Fox News reported, flight logs show the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — the tricked-out jet that earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.]
If that turned your stomach, congratulations, you’re human. Apparently that sort of thing doesn’t bother the Clintons, who not only befriended Epstein, but looked the other way from his behavior.
The MSNBC pundits continued to talk:
“I will say this was a blind spot for me, because I’m not in New York circles,” Scarborough said. “This is something I have been hearing about for a year-and-a half. I don’t know the whole story or anything, but I keep having reporters say, ‘This is going to blow up.’”
Columnist Mike Barnicle said the race was going to get “incredibly ugly,” and former GOP strategist Steve Schmidt said he had no doubt Trump was going to “go there.”
We know that Hillary plans to use her husband in a major way during the campaign. It seems she is banking on his eight years as president to outweigh the many dubious accusations, like his friendship to Epstein. And let’s not forget Clinton’s own embarrassing sex scandal, which nearly destroyed his time in office.
It seems that the candidate “for women” is more concerned with her own career than the actual rights of women.
