Nancy Pelosi spent her final year as House Speaker pursuing an “investigation” to put one last frame on former President Trump. Pelosi ran the “J6” commission, a group that spent millions to find a connection between the events at the Capitol and Donald Trump.

From the very start, Pelosi has claimed she was not responsible for what went on at the Capitol, even though it was her building. She even said she had no control over Capitol Police, despite the fact the House Speaker has direct access to the police. And now, House Republicans revealed Pelosi was lying all along.

Two years later, that claim is directly challenged by contemporaneous text and email messages made public by five House Republicans showing her staff had direct contact with the officials who planned the security and even edited some of the plans and notifications in the fateful days before tragedy struck.

“The reason there wasn’t a proper security presence on that day goes right to the Speaker’s staff and the Speaker’s office,” added Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).

Well, isn’t this interesting? Pelosi has claimed that Trump “ordered” people to descend on the Capitol Building and that she had no power to stop it. Many questions have been raised over why Capitol security failed to stop civilians from running amuck. Pelosi said she had nothing to do with that.

Even though she ordered the National Guard to overrun the Capitol for the next six months.

Now, House Republicans are releasing text messages and emails between Pelosi’s staff and the officials who planned security on that day. Not only that, but her people edited some of the plans and notifications.

Meaning, she did have the power to influence and even direct what the police did on January 6. And, she and her staff did tell security what to do. So, Pelosi lied to the American public when she said she had no power over Capitol Police.

The revelations are so damning, Rep. Troy Nehls proclaimed, “January 6 should have never happened.” Had Pelosi not interfered with what Capitol police were doing (given they had intel from federal authorities about possible danger), there would not have been “J6.”

Yet Pelosi wants us to believe Trump is responsible for something she could have prevented. Why isn’t she being grilled?
