Slowly but surely, Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump is shrinking. It’s happening incrementally, as each day reveals a concerning new story about Clinton’s poor health and corrupt behavior.
This latest poll reflects a seven-day period which ended on Sunday. Of course, on Sunday, Clinton was revealed to have “feet of clay” when she collapsed at New York City’s 9/11 memorial ceremony.
The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll released Monday shows Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton by about 3 percentage points.
The online poll shows Trump with 48.7 percent to Clinton’s 45.8 percent in the seven-day polling period ending Sunday. Those responding with “others” were at 5 percent. (…)
Seven days ago, Clinton had a 2-point lead with 48.1 percent compared with 46.1 for Trump in the spread between the two candidates over the course of seven days, the poll’s full sample size. Clinton’s high was 50.8 on Aug. 16.
This poll also takes into consideration Donald Trump’s busy week, continuing to make appearances, and issuing a heartfelt 9/11 remembrance, among other things. The contrast between him and his opponent gets starker all the time, and these numbers reflect that.
