Many Americans are already outraged over President Obama’s future library.
The project—which will feature precious few books or resources—will cost the taxpayers millions.
Yep, you thought you were done getting screwed over by this guy. Think again!
Worse than his library—which will feature basketball courts instead of reading tables—is the fact that it will destroy parts of Chicago’s history. A park designated as a landmark is set to be destroyed.
All in the name of Obama’s massive ego.
Now it seems that at least a few Chicago officials are honest enough to halt this scam.

The Chicago Park District has put a halt to preparations being made for the Obama Presidential Library until after a federal court reviews a lawsuit filed by Chicago residents, and federal agencies assess the transfer of historic public land to a private entity…
Permits and agreements filed by Chicago city officials, and with the Chicago Department of Transportation, reveal a sweetheart rent deal that any Chicago renter (or landlord) would certainly envy: the Obama Foundation will pay a mere $10 for a 99-year lease on what is supposed to be a public park.
Hearings on the lawsuit, which claims the Obama Library received unprecedented and potentially illegal assistance from the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago, start Thursday.
Pretty shady from the get-go, am I right?
Obama is getting this land super cheap. The city doesn’t seem to care that the library will destroy a park. Not to mention cost Chicago plenty for upkeep, security, and maintenance costs yearly.
Obama’s organization should be required to pay for all that. Instead, they are getting a “sweetheart” deal.
Sounds like a scam to me.
Like so many other “projects” run by Democrats, Obama is taking taxpayer dollars for himself. The city is charging basically nothing.
So where is all the money going to? Most likely Obama and the corrupt city officials that agreed to a ridiculous $10/100-year lease.
I mean, they must really think we’re stupid.
The only good news is that the project was put on hold until they can investigate. But considering Chicago officials are the ones looking into the situation, I’m not hopeful.
Unless federal officials get involved, this one might slip past.
