President Obama has a message for America – and it’s not exactly complimentary.
As he gets closer to the end of his presidency, his mask continues to slip as he shows the contempt he actually holds his own country in.
He dropped the bombshell blast of Americans at the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative town hall in Luang Prabang, Laos, telling a crowd of attendees his own fellow countrymen don’t really know much about the rest of the world’s citizens. Why not?
Apparently, Americans are “lazy,” he said, Breitbart reported.
Specifically, Obama said “we don’t have to know anything about other people” because we are so big as a nation.
He went on, Breitbart reported: “You know, I believe that the United States is and can be a great force for good in the world but because we are such a big country, we haven’t always had to know about other parts of the world. If you are in Laos, you need to know about Thailand and China and Cambodia because you are small country and they are right next door.”
But in America?
Americans apparently have the luxury to think only of themselves, he suggested.
“If you are in the United States, sometimes you can feel lazy and think, ‘You know, we are so big, we don’t have to really know anything about other people,'” he said, Breitbart reported. “And that’s part of what I’m trying to change.”
Bad-mouthing America seems par for the course for Obama. He began his presidency with an apology tour about America, telling France and German students in 2009 Americans were “dismissive” and “derisive” of Europeans.
