Doug Shoen, a long-time Democrat political consultant and senior party figure, is out with a piece in the Wall Street Journal that has the political world buzzing.
While others have made similar claims to Shoen, this piece is particularly noteworthy because, as Rush Limbaugh noted, Shoen is not idly speculating. If he is saying this publicly, the discussions have already started and this is part of a broader coordinated effort within the Democrat Party.
At the same time, renewed talk of a Biden candidacy, possibly with Elizabeth Warren on the ticket, has been peculating in party circles.
The bottom line…Hillary Clinton is about to be shown the door.
Shoen writes in the Wall Street Journal…
There is now more than a theoretical chance that Hillary Clinton may not be the Democratic nominee for president.
Shoen points to next Tuesday as Clinton’s Waterloo…
The inevitability behind Mrs. Clinton’s nomination will be in large measure eviscerated if she loses the June 7 California primary to Bernie Sanders. That could well happen.
Shoen goes on to point out all of the ways Clinton has under-performed and undermined her own candidacy, from scandals to polls. He also lays out how she would be ousted.
The whole article is well worth the read.
