Nancy thought she beat Trump today – she didn’t see her own party coming.

Well, well, well. It looks like the dam is finally breaking against Pelosi.

Democrats are getting tired of this old battleax’s stonewalling. Some have promised to vote for Trump’s wall.

Democrats succeeded in stopping Trump’s bill in the Senate, but theirs failed as well.

Now, it looks like the Speaker is facing bigger problems.

Thirty of her own Democrats have revolted. They are none too happy with how their “leader” is handling the shutdown.

Thirty Democrats sent a letter Wednesday to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, suggesting she guarantee President Donald Trump a vote on his border security funding request if he reopens the government…

The letter lays out a process that would guarantee a House vote — but not passage — on the $5.7 billion Trump has requested in border wall funding, as well as other funding he is seeking for border security needs.

According to reports, this letter does not promise to build the wall. Nor are Democrats showing support for border security.

But it is a sign that they want to reopen discussion and debate. Perhaps agree to vote on wall funding—provided Democrats can offer their own additions to the bill.

That’s exactly what President Trump offered last week when he addressed the country.

He offered a bill that would fund the wall while making concessions the Democrats would like.

Pelosi and Schumer rejected it before it was even announced. Pathetic.

It looks like Democrats are regretting making this old hippy Speaker of the House. Again.

She refused to even negotiate with Trump. Pelosi tried to play chicken with a born negotiator. She’s failing spectacularly.

Now, many in her party are blinking. They know they won’t survive another election if this shutdown drags out longer.

Meanwhile, Trump enjoys continued approval among his voter base. The same base that will come out in full force in 2020.

Can the Democrats say the same about their fickle, handout-demanding voters? I think not.

President Trump might not agree to whatever “amendments” the Democrats want to add. But at least there are liberals signaling they want to do something, anything, to end this ridiculous shutdown.

If Pelosi ignores this? Well, there’s no hope for her or her party.

UPDATE: Trump announced the end of the shutdown Friday with by opening the government and giving a window for Congress to come up with a reasonable solution for border security with a wall. If they fail, the government shuts down again or he will use emergency powers to build the wall. Looks like the 30 Democrats had their way with Pelosi, and her leadership of the Democrats is rocky.
