Well look, another foreign power who doesn’t understand the American process.
It’s telling to see which countries come out for or against Donald Trump.
This latest statement of opposition should send all Americans rushing to the polls, to selection the GOP candidate as President.
According to the Daily Mail:
A Saudi prince has urged Americans not to vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming general election.
Turki al-Faisal, who served as Saudia Arabia’s ambassador to the US from 2005 to 2007, spoke against the presumptive Republican nominee during a foreign policy dinner in Washington, DC on Thursday.
He blasted Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the US, which the billionaire first formulated in December last year before renewing his vow on Wednesday.
‘For the life of me, I cannot believe that a country like the United States can afford to have someone as president who simply says, “These people are not going to be allowed to come to the United States,”’ Turki said according to the Huffington Post.
‘It’s up to you, it’s not up to me,’ Turki added. ‘I just hope you, as American citizens, will make the right choice in November.’
Turki, who went to Georgetown University in Washington, DC, isn’t currently part of Saudia Arabia’s government but serves as the chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, a cultural organization that conducts research in politics, sociology and heritage.
Make no mistake, Turki does not care about Trump’s stance on Muslims.
As a former ambassador, he can come in and out of America as much as he pleases. This is all about his country’s interests and how Saudi Arabia’s relationship with American will change, should Trump become President.
Donald Trump has vowed to destroy ISIS and any foreign entity that threatens America. He’s a known negotiator who will not bow to another country’s interest. His plan to wipe out ISIS might threaten Saudi Arabia’s influence in the Middle East. Turki doesn’t like that, clearly.
But do you want to know the REAL reason he’s against Trump? It’s because Hillary Clinton’s in his pocket.
Saudi Arabia has been a contributor to her foundation for years, giving upwards of $25 million dollars. While she was Secretary of State, they got favors, including arms deals. If she was President, they’d have her by the lease.
All that Turki is trying to do is protect his country’s selfish interests, at the expense of the United State’s stability and safety. He doesn’t care if ISIS blow us up to Kingdom Come.
That fact that he thinks he could influence the American public shows his drastic lack of understanding of our politics, culture, and deeply held beliefs.
Thankfully, the American people don’t answer to princes.
