Our classy First Lady has once again made America proud!
Her recent handling of the dishonest media just proved that she is mastering the art of the interview.
Reporters have accused her husband of everything under the sun, mocked her child, and mercilessly made fun of her and her accent.
And yet, she continues to exude grace and dignity on the world stage. And she refuses to fall into any traps.
For instance, ABC News sat down with the First Lady during her trip to Africa, and they asked her loaded questions about the #MeToo movement.
They asked her if she stands with the women accusing men of assault, and her response shows that the Trump administration believes in law and order, and stands against media hype.
From Washington Free Beacon:
“I do stand with women, but we need to show the evidence,” Melania told ABC reporter Tom Llamas in an interview released Wednesday.
“You cannot just say to somebody, ‘I was sexually assaulted,’ or ‘you did that to me.’
Because sometimes the media goes too far, and the way they portray some stories, it’s not correct. It’s not right.“
Llamas obviously wanted to get more out of Mrs. Trump, so he decided to focus on the growing #MeToo movement.
But the First Lady once again offered the perfect response:
“I support the women, and they need to be heard.
We need to support them and also men, not just women.“
Well, she definitely isn’t a man-bashing feminist!
No, what she says is just common sense and that’s why so many people love her: she speaks the truth, plainly and simply.
Of course, her liberal critics are accusing Melania of trying to play both sides of the #MeToo debate, but this only shows how close-minded the Left are.
Democrats refuse to recognize that it actually IS possible to support innocent men AND female victims at the same time.
Thank goodness we have a First Lady who has more common sense than the entire Democratic party, right?
You support our First Lady’s stance here, don’t you?
