It’s been a while since we heard about the #NeverTrump crowd.
There’s good reason: few of them are left. Recently Trump spoke with leaders in Washington, gaining their enthusiastic support. More and more established Republicans are seeing the light, that Trump is their party’s best chance at saving the country.
Yet, shockingly, there are still people out there resisting Trump. It seems they don’t care if a destructive entity like Hillary Clinton takes the White House. They don’t mind if the toxic liberal policies of the last eight years continues for another term.
The good news is the majority of Republicans are taking a stand for their nominee. Recently, RNC chairman Reince Priebus came out in support of Trump. He had strong words to say to those still resisting him.
Priebus said, “It’s important for those folks to understand that support for someone else, or nobody, is support for Hillary Clinton and Sonia Sotomayor and a lot more of them on the Supreme Court…So they’re not just screwing around with the next four years. Some of these folks are screwing around with the next 40 years.“
We know that the affect of a president lasts much longer than the four-eight years they’re in office.
The economic crisis of 2008 was actually started by Clinton during his final year in office. The damage Obama has done culturally and politically may not be undone for another generation.
But even more is at stake in this election, as the next president may appoint 2 new Supreme Court Justices.
If the primaries are any indication, Trump has nothing to fear from whoever is left in #NeverTrump land. He brought in unprecedented numbers of voters across the nation. He’s proven he can unite the Republican party like never before. And he’s sure to crush Hillary in the coming months.
The anti-Trump camp will be left in the dust.
