An exodus is draining a sanctuary state hard – not California.
There is this weird quirk we’ve been seeing across the country. Those states run by heavily-liberal governments… are losing people!
The toxic policies of the Left—high taxes, social justice, pro-caravan—have had a disastrous effect on their cities and states.
Regular Americans are feeling the pain. It’s almost as if Democrats are completely incompetent!
We’ve seen the fallout of Gov. Jerry Brown’s leadership in California. The once proud state is a shell of its former self. Homeless flood the streets. Garbage is everywhere. Jobs are bleeding as businesses flee.
But—as bad as CA is—it’s not the worst in the country. Believe it or not, there is one state that is losing more citizens than any other. And it happens to be Obama’s home state.

Illinois has lost residents for its fifth year in a row, reporting the second largest decline in population among the 50 states, according to recently released data from the Census Bureau.
Approximately 157,000 residents have fled Illinois over the past five years, and of residents who remain, fewer people are giving birth and more people are dying off.
And why are Illinois residents leaving? Hear them tell us in their own words:
Residents, when asked why they left Illinois, said they left the state mainly because of high taxes and corruption in state politics.
“It’s taxes. It’s corruption. It’s politics,” former Illinois resident Mary Miller, who moved out of the state in July to settle in Florida, told the Chicago Tribune. “And I don’t mean Republicans or Democrats; it’s all of them.”

This is a trend that keeps continuing. Patriots are leaving places like California, New York, and Illinois for greener pastures. They’d rather live in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
Those predominantly conservative states have lower taxes. Not to mention, they’re a damn sight prettier than Chicago!
People are waking up to the fact that liberal leadership is bad for America. Democrats promise the moon, but instead, they only give higher taxes and bad leadership.
Cities and states run by the left are in the toilet. Now, more than ever.
Illinois is in big trouble. All the good people will soon be gone. What will they have left, but the criminals and undocumenteds?
