As more and more entitled, selfish, and disrespectful athletes protest our flag, President Trump has spoken. He made it clear that anyone that refuses to stand for the national anthem should be fired.
The leeches of the White House Press pool questioned Press Secretary Sanders about the issue. Their hope was that they could trap her into saying something that contradicted the President. Then they would spin in as fake news.
But her response simply shut them down.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders took the podium amid deep controversy over the president wading into the NFL national anthem protest controversy. Sanders was asked immediately about the controversy:
“This isn’t about the president being against anyone. This is about the president and millions of Americans being for something. Being for honoring our flag, honoring our national anthem, and honoring the men and women who fought to defend it.”
When pressed again, multiple times, by reporters asking if Trump’s remarks were “appropriate,” Sanders leveled a response to the room that shut down the question.
“I think it is always appropriate for the president of the United States to defend our flag, to defend the national anthem, and to defend the men and women who fought and died to defend it.”
The media cares as little about the flag as those spoiled athletes. They are only look for controversy to stir up, hoping pathetically that it will generate a little bit of views on their failing news shows.
So as the ridiculous displays by athletes continue, the media only wants to use it as an excuse to attack the President.
But his people agree: it is the President’s right to stick up for Americans, the flag, and our national anthem.
I guarantee if a democrat President said what Trump said, every one of those media hacks would be on board. They would make it seem like the President was standing up for the rights of all Americans. But because it is Trump, these losers are trying to make his comments seem inappropriate.
But Sanders set the record straight, for all of us.
