WHOA—New Bathroom Scandal ERUPTS! School Orders Teenage Boy To…

The pressure for schools to be politically correct and coddle students who see themselves differently has taken precedence in schools today, at the expense of students who simply want to have a normal education experience.

One young man in Pennsylvania learned this in a jarring way when he was put into an extremely uncomfortably situation by his own school.

While the boy was changing in his school’s locker room, he suddenly noticed a girl was changing as well. Both were only wearing their undergarments, and the young man was shocked and confused as to why she was there.

The boy was not alone in his completely valid concerns, and he led several other boys in complaining to the school’s assistant principal, Dr. Foley. Both he and Principal Brett Cooper dismissed the boy’s fears, so he and his parents decided to sue.

From Todd Starnes:

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday by Alliance Defending Freedom and Independence Law Center, alleges the Boyertown Area School District shamed the teenage boy and violated his personal privacy. They are also alleging sexual harassment.

“No school should rob any student of this legally protected personal privacy,” ILC attorney Randall Wenger said. “We trust that our children won’t be forced into emotionally vulnerable situations like this when they are in the care of our schools because it’s a school’s duty to protect and respect the bodily privacy and dignity of all students.”

The great irony is that the boy’s assistant principal told the student repeatedly when he went to his office to complain that the boy had to “tolerate it”, that he needed to make the situation as “‘natural’ as he possibly can,” and to “be as natural as possible.”

What exactly is natural about a biological female changing in a boy’s locker room?

It’s the epitome of unnatural to force a young boy to endure this and to dismiss his concerns. The school is more preoccupied with appeasing an extremely confused girl than they are protecting this young man’s right to bodily privacy.

In an attempt to deflect blame, the school told the boy he could change in the nurse’s office if he didn’t want to change in front of a girl. If neither option was suitable, they told the boy he could just withdraw from the school.

This is blatant tyranny of the minority. Instead of asking the lone female student to withdraw, the school instead placed the onus on the boys involved to leave if they didn’t like the school’s policies.

If ever there were a case for homeschooling, this is it.
