Democrats will not fund the border wall. They depend on open immigration to win elections.

So, hundreds of thousands of federal workers go without pay. Including our Coast Guard.

Many families are left in the lurch.

But, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer keep getting their fat checks.

It seems that might change very soon, thanks to a new bill.

Republican Montana Sen. Steve Daines introduced a bill on the Senate floor Thursday that would withhold the pay of members of Congress during future government shutdowns.

“Members of Congress are sent to Washington, D.C., to represent the great people of their state and keep the federal government open, working and funded. So it’s simple. If they can’t do that, they shouldn’t get paid. No work, no pay.”

The likelihood of this bill passing is slim, considering these same crooks who shut down the government have to pass it.

But it shows us the growing anger among Americans over the shutdown. More than a few Republican lawmakers are outraged over this ongoing drama. And they’re making their voices heard.

It’s absolutely criminal that Pelosi and Schumer—and the rest of the corrupt Democrats—keep getting paid. Thousands of Americans are out of work.

Many more suffer due to the closure of government agencies.

Yet these con artists keep getting checks? That must not stand.

We need to make our voices heard. This shutdown must come to an end. Democrats need to learn they cannot throw temper tantrums over politics.
