President Obama just can’t seem to get the idea that he isn’t the king out of his head.
He constantly overreaches and is constantly slapped down by the court.
But he just keeps on trying.
Now he has decided that men should be allowed in ladies restrooms and once more he has gone wildly beyond his power, issuing an edict to the states to adhere to his radical and bizarre social agenda…or else.
Well, the some states are none to pleased about this development and yesterday they pushed back.
Reuters has the story…
Officials from 11 U.S. states sued the Obama administration on Wednesday to overturn a directive telling schools to let transgender students use bathrooms matching their gender identity, decrying the policy as “a massive social experiment.”
So what does the suit claim?
The lawsuit said the administration “conspired to turn workplace and educational settings across the country into laboratories for a massive social experiment, flouting the democratic process, and running roughshod over commonsense policies protecting children and basic privacy rights.”
The suit was originally brought by Texas, but others quickly followed. The count is now up to eleven…
Texas was joined by Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin, plus Arizona’s Department of Education and Maine’s governor.
Hopefully, other will join the effort and once again Barack Obama’s radical social agenda will be defeated in the courts which have become the bulwark against his increasingly totalitarian instincts.
