The mainstream media was predicting doom and gloom for the Trump campaign. After the dust settled on the national conventions, polls had Hillary Clinton leading by a few points. This was enough blood in the water for the biased news outlets to announce Trump had utterly lost.
Polls have not evened out, but instead are in a pretty constant state of flux as people watch the day to day soap opera we call Election 2016.
Despite the liberal media’s biased, one-sided, and unequivocally dishonest agenda, Donald Trump is still fighting back. Millions of Americans are flocking to his banner, fed up with eight years of failure and decades of insider Washington politics.
And in key swing states, this movement is growing even stronger.
From USA Politics Today:
A Florida Atlantic University survey released Wednesday morning showed Republican nominee Donald Trump taking the lead in Florida’s presidential race over Hillary Clinton, 43 percent to 41 percent…
One of the key demographics leading Trump to victory was independent voters., whom he was winning by a double-digit margin at 47 percent to 26 percent. Clinton, however, lead among female voters and African-Americans by nearly 50 points and Hispanic voters by 10 points.
“The race between Clinton and Trump among Hispanics in Florida is closer than it is nationally,” explained Monica Escaleras, director of Florida Atlantic University’s Business and Economics Polling Initiative. “Some of that is probably the Cuban vote.
Keep in mind that Trump has a few notable rallies coming up in Florida and has only just started running ads in the state. In a few weeks, we might be looking at a very different race.
And don’t forget the debates, which will go a long way in deciding national opinion. With Trump’s strong, unapologetic approach, and Hillary’s massive pile of a dirty laundry, we might be looking at a bloodbath.
