What’s Happening:
There are plenty of intense battles playing out across swing states this midterm season. But none might be as intense as the one between Republican J.D. Vance and his Democrat rival Tim Ryan. Both are fighting for the open Senate seat out of Ohio.
Ryan recently hurt himself, when he vowed to “kill” the MAGA movement. But during a recent debate, Republican Vance simply crushed his leftist opponent.
Ryan tried to take a cheap shot at Vance, saying he “kissed” Trump’s behind. Vance didn’t let him get away with it. From Breitbart:
In response, J.D. Vance, who the congressman is running against, said Ryan has been “caught on video kissing up to Chuck Schumer and begging him for a promotion to his next job.” [..]
“The last few congresses, Tim, you voted for Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden. 100 percent. You consistently tow the party line on every single issue.”
Vance went on to criticize the Democrat, who spent 20 years as a career politician in the D.C. swamp.
Republican J.D. Vance demolished liberal Tim Ryan. He blasted the Democrat for spending 20 years in D.C. but getting nothing done. Vance said about Ryan, “the record just isn’t there.” When Ryan was climbing the ladder of Congress to pad his career, Vance was serving in the United States Marine Corps.
Vance blasted Ryan, who tried to make the Republican sound like a boot licker for his support of Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Ryan has refused to stand up to his party, despite what he’s claimed. Ryan has voted with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden 100% of the time–not something swing voters in Ohio want to hear.
But Vance put the nail in Ryan’s coffin with this statement. From Not the Bee:

JD Vance, who is running for Senate in Ohio against Democrat Tim Ryan, dropped a freaking nuke on his opponent’s head regarding the issue when Ryan tried to use the little girl as a talking point:

This was a total KO. All throughout the debate, Democrat Ryan looked like a deer in the headlights.
Meanwhile, Republican Vance was in control. He was calm and collected. Not once did he let Ryan get away with his empty talking points. Plenty of Democrats are refusing to debate Republicans this election cycle. For this very reason.
Democrats have no legs to stand on, when confronted by smart Republicans with their acts together.
