After Texas National Guard Locks Border Gate, Presidents Biden’s Feds Go In and Quietly Unlock It, Let Everyone In

The border remains a top priority for Americans, and could become even more prominent in the upcoming midterm elections. With continued reports of sky-high encounters and arrests, the crisis shows no signs of slowing.

And with news that the Biden administration has reportedly ignored the issue, many citizens are demanding action.

However, with more videos of thousands of illegal migrants streaming across the southern border, it doesn’t appear as if any action is being taken. In fact, the problem seems worse than ever.

A new video details just how difficult the situation is — and it could really rile voters.

The border is extremely difficult to maintain, as Border Patrol has frequently complained of being undermanned, and they say entire segments of the border are simply wide open.

That’s why states like Texas have tried to clamp down despite the lack of federal assistance. For example, Texas has used the National Guard to help secure parts of the border.

Unfortunately, their efforts sometimes have no impact, as evidenced by new footage. Via The Daily Wire:

Federal law enforcement officials reportedly opened a gate on private property to allow illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. after Texas National Guard troops locked the gate to deny their entry into the country.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin captured the stunning footage, which comes just after more several hundred thousand more migrants illegally crossed the border in July.

Melugin said this is the first time they’ve seen the Texas National Guard lock and close a gate at a major crossing. But then Biden’s Border Patrol comes along, opens the gate, and lets all the migrants in.

He added in a follow-up tweet:

Border Patrol opening gates etc to allow migrants in is not new. They have to process migrants on U.S. soil per federal law.

What’s new is TX is now closing the gate & denying entry at this major crossing location. Always open in months past, including this video I shot in May.

So it seems that despite Texas’ efforts to keep the border closed, Border Patrol just overrides their authority and keeps letting in migrants to be processed.

Under the current law, those foreign travelers have to be processed. But the issue is that they shouldn’t be there in the first place, and Texas has tasked the Guard with attempting to secure their state.

Texas isn’t the only state to make such strides toward protecting its citizens.

Just this week, Arizona announced the completion of a thousand-foot border barrier, which they constructed using huge shipping containers and barbed wire. “Arizona has had enough,” said Republican Gov. Greg Ducey. He also said:

We can’t wait any longer. The Biden administration’s lack of urgency on border security is a dereliction of duty.

For the last two years, Arizona has made every attempt to work with Washington to address the crisis on our border.

Time and time again we’ve stepped in to clean up their mess. Arizonans can’t wait any longer for the federal government to deliver on their delayed promises.

It’s starting to seem like a push-and-pull game between state authorities and federal officers: one side is trying to keep their communities safe, while the other is just letting the flood continue.

Neither President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris has addressed the issue recently, and this could pose a serious problem for the future.

Key Takeaways:

  • Fox News captured footage of the Texas National Guard locking a border gate, then Border Patrol coming and unlocking it.
  • It’s shaping up to be state vs. federal, as the states are trying to protect the southern border.
  • These state leaders complain that the Biden administration has done nothing to fix the issue, so they’re forced to act.
