What is it that Democrats love to say? “When they go low, we go high?”

Liberals love to push the idea that they are morally superior to us conservatives. They slam our values, our leaders, and even our intelligence.

But never have I heard a Republican make a joke like this.

A Florida Democrat was hosting a rally. To get the crowd worked up, he made a joke about our Commander in Chief.

It was so shocking, even Democrats are trying to distance themselves from the man.

Florida Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings made a disturbing joke during a rally on Sunday about no one trying to save a drowning President Donald Trump.

Hastings was speaking at a rally in Sunshine, Fla. when he repeated a joke he heard from Ari Silver, the son of former Florida state legislator Barry Silver.

“I will tell you one joke,” Hastings said. “Do you know the difference between a crisis and a catastrophe?”

“‘A crisis is if Donald Trump falls into the Potomac River and can’t swim,’” Hastings said, retelling the joke. “‘And a catastrophe is anybody saves his ass.’”

The crowd cheered and whooped in delight at the joke.

Seems like the crowd liked the joke. That’s nice. What was it the media said about Trump inciting violence?

Yet time and again we see Democrats spread violence towards Trump and his supporters.

Maxine Waters told her supporters to “push back” at Trump, his administration, and other Americans. What else could that mean but violence?

Now this Democrat is joking about the President of the United States dying in a river. Not only that, he said it would be a bad thing if someone tried to save his life.

It’s clear the left is trying to create (and already has) a climate of violence against conservatives. They want to normalize this kind of talk, to encourage their supporters to fight us. Already we see Antifa and other liberal goons attack normal Americans.

How long before a liberal nut job tries to carry out Hastings’ joke?

But that is what the left wants. They want enough liberals to bully conservatives. All so that we stop talking. Stop spreading our views. And stop standing up for what we believe it.

All so they can win a few elections. Pretty disgusting if you ask me.

To think, once upon a time, they were calling us deplorables. But whose joking about the POTUS dying in a river?

Perhaps Hastings deserve to be booted out of office.
