Nancy Pelosi cannot be happy to hear these words come out of Donald’s mouth.
Trump recently surprised the world with a special visit to American troops in Iraq, and gave a speech proving just how much he values our military’s sacrifices.
His unannounced visit made the fake news media look pretty foolish, because they were attacking Trump for not visiting the troops at Christmas.
But the media has never understood that the President never announces his plans, especially to the press.
The President’s support of our troops was on full display while he addressed them at their military base. Trump praised them for their service, and for eliminating ISIS.
And he had quite the message for them on the wall, one they just have been cheering for.
From The Street:
“Whatever it takes,” Trump told reporters in Iraq. “We need a wall. We need safety for our country. Even from this standpoint. We have terrorists coming in through the southern border.”
Trump’s vow to do, “Whatever it takes” to fund the wall was met with cheers from our service men and women, who understand more than most what it takes to defend the country from danger.

Trump went on to say that the Democrats don’t want us to have strong borders, and are opposing the wall, “because I want it.”
He joked that one way he could get the wall built would be for him to say he didn’t want it, which earned him some big laughs from the military that came to see him.
But the threats across the border are no joke. Human and drug trafficking, and the illegal crossing of dangerous criminals are all valid reasons to get a secure border in place.
We see big drops in border jumpers where we have walls. In San Diego, crossings are down 92%. In El Paso and Yuma, they’re down 95%. In Tucson, it’s down 90%.
Our President stands by his word, and is even now looking for other ways to secure funding for the wall without Congressional help.
