A large part of Donald Trump’s campaign was the eradication of ISIS and other forms of radical Islamic terrorism.
He was criticized by the left—who called him among other things xenophobic—for his insistence that we tighten our vetting process for immigrants coming from Muslim nations, or from countries we know sponsor terrorism.
At a time when terrorism is rampant around the world, when strong measures must be taken to protect innocent civilians, the left attack the one candidate who had a plan.
But now, so close to Christmas time, we’ve seen horrendous attacks in Europe, a continent that’s done nothing to prevent them.
President-elect Donald Trump spoke to the press on Wednesday outside his Mar-a-largo estate, calling the terrorist attack in Berlin a “terrible” action that had to be stopped…
“All along, I’ve been proven to be right,” he continued. “100% correct. What’s happening is disgraceful…”
When asked about his statement about the attack being an attack on Christians, he replied, “It’s an attack on humanity. That’s what it is. An attack on humanity and it’s got to be stopped.”
How will it be stopped? Well, after talking rather softly on the temporary Muslim immigration ban in recent weeks, Trump seems open to instituting the ban when he becomes President, if only to keep horrible atrocities like what happened in Germany from happening inside our own borders.
Trump has frequently met with resistance by the media and liberals over his stance against radical Islamic terrorism. But his critics don’t seem to offer any other kind of solutions to this ongoing war.
They seem to be either wanting terrorists to destroy our nations, or simply lack the backbone to say what needs to be said.
We’ve seen what a weak stance can lead to, thanks to all the bloodshed in Europe.
Either way, Donald Trump has been proven right about these attacks and will make sure they never happen in America again.
